Terms & Conditions

Last updated November 1, 2026

Short version: every job runs on a written quote you approve first. The quote is the agreement; these terms fill in the rest.

About these terms

These terms apply to goldfluke.com and to services provided by Gold Fluke Services ("we", "us"). By using the site or hiring us, you agree to them. If a written quote or signed agreement says something different, the quote or agreement wins.

Quotes

Scope and changes

We do the work described in the approved quote. Any change to scope, materials or schedule is agreed in writing (email or text is fine) before we do it, along with any change in price.

Your part

Conditions we find

Older or damaged surfaces can hide problems, such as rot, loose rust or failing previous coatings, that only show up once work starts. If we find one, we'll stop, show you, and agree on how to proceed before doing extra work.

Weather and scheduling

Exterior painting, coatings and washing depend on weather. If conditions aren't right for a lasting result, we'll reschedule at no charge to you.

Payment

Any deposit, payment schedule and accepted payment methods are stated in your written quote. Applicable Texas sales tax is shown on your quote and invoice. Final payment is due when the agreed work is complete and walked through, unless the quote says otherwise.

Workmanship coverage

Every job includes a free 7-day fix: report a problem with work in the agreed scope within 7 days of the final walkthrough and we'll fix it at no charge. You can add a 30-day extended warranty for an added fee shown on your quote. Details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Refunds and cancellations

See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or problems caused by materials or work by others.

This website

We work to keep the site accurate, but it's provided as is. Content on the site, including our logo and design, belongs to Gold Fluke Services and may not be copied without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Hidalgo County, Texas.
