Where we come from.
Gold Fluke was started in McAllen by a Navy veteran who served as a boatswain's mate.
A boatswain's mate keeps a ship's decks and steel protected: wash it down, grind out the rust, prime, paint, and do it again. We bring the same prep-first habits to every property we work on.

Photos from time in the Navy.
Every empty day costs rent.
Turning a unit usually means a cleaner, a painter and a pressure washer on three schedules, with three invoices and three chances for a no-show. Gold Fluke sends one crew that does it all in one visit.
One crew, one invoice
Cleaning, paint touch-ups, small repairs and the entry wash, scheduled together and billed once.
Prep done right
Led by a Navy veteran who learned surface prep as a boatswain's mate: wash, prep, prime, then coat, so the finish lasts.

Watch a surface come back.
0%About us · how we work
Wash
Salt, silt and loose grime come off first, because coatings don't bond well to a dirty surface.
Prep
Rust is ground back to clean, bright metal. Rushed prep is a common reason coatings fail early.
Prime
A rust-inhibiting primer seals the bare steel before air and moisture reach it.
Coat
The topcoat goes on in even passes, with products chosen for the job and the surface.
Finish
We walk the finished work with you before we call it done.
Restored. Built to hold.
Our mission
Care in the details.
Our goal is to leave every property cleaner, sharper and better protected than we found it, and to make the work easy to trust from the first walkthrough to the last.
Gold Fluke was founded in McAllen by a Navy veteran who served as a boatswain's mate. On a ship, that job means keeping steel alive in salt air: washing it down, grinding out rust, priming, painting, and doing it again before the sea wins. That same discipline is how we treat your property.
The fluke is the part of an anchor that digs in and holds. That's the idea behind the name: show up, dig in, and hold the standard until the job is right.

Resources
You're a new company. Why should I trust you?
Because nothing depends on taking our word for it. You get the scope and price in writing before we start, you walk the finished work with us before you pay, and every job includes a free 7-day fix. If plans change, cancel free with 48 hours' notice.
What a post-construction clean includes
- Rough clean: debris, dust and leftover materials out while trades finish.
- Final clean: surfaces, fixtures, glass, floors and cabinets ready for handover.
- Touch-up clean: a last pass after the punch list, right before the walkthrough.
Getting a rental ready for turnover
Send us move-out photos or let us walk it. We patch, paint, fix doors and trim, and wash the entry and walkways in one visit, so the unit shows clean inside and out.
Why coatings fail early
Often it's the prep. Paint applied over salt, chalky old paint or loose rust can start to peel early. Washing and grinding back to sound metal before priming gives a coating its best chance to last.
Bundling and package savings
Book two or more services together and the savings apply to your combined quote.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel or reschedule at no charge with 48 hours' notice. Every job includes a free 7-day fix, and you can add a 30-day extended warranty when you book. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Do I get an instant price?
No. A fair quote depends on condition, preparation, access and materials. We confirm those on the walkthrough and put the price in writing before work starts.
